Perelman Jewish Day School was founded in 1956 as a Solomon Schechter Day School, affiliated with the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism. The school serves Jewish students in the elementary and middle school grades on three campuses, the Stern Center Campus (grades K-5) in Wynnewood, and the Forman Center Campus (grades K-5) and Robert Saligman Middle School (grades 6-8) in Melrose Park. Perelman Jewish Day School is accredited by the Pennsylvania Association of Independent Schools (PAIS).
